Diet Tip # 1 from the family
-I just want to talk a little about my aspect of the diet. Rebecca had been talking to me about wanting to go on a diet. When she first started talking about it I thought she might do it, but I’ve also hear so many people say the same thing, all I felt I could do was hope for the best.
-She started focusing on the topic of diets and learning about each one and how they worked. I felt she was trying to find a diet that sounded like something she could do. After a few days she told me she had found a diet that sounded good for her. She told me she thinking about ordering a months supply of this stuff. I thought oh boy! How much does it cost? It was well over $200.
-This was her thing from the beginning, so I was going to support her. I told her to go for it, and Jordan and I would fend for ourselves. We were used to Rebecca feeding us. And this diet meant we were going to have to give up the junk food too. I was still ok with it and so was Jordan.
-A few days later the box came with all the food in it. It was on. Jordan and I went shopping for a bunch of frozen foods. We did have to clear the junk food out of the house, but that wasn’t too hard considering it didn’t last long to begin with.
-Jordan and I feeding ourselves allowed Rebecca to focus on her diet. I think this went a long way in her success of the diet.
-After she had been on the diet for a few months, she was more comfortable with Jordan and I having some snack foods around. What we learned was that if we bought foods she didn’t like to begin with, it was that much less tempting to her.
